Geranium
Hardy geraniums are one of the big groups of flowering garden plants. There are geraniums suitable for just about any position in the garden from dark dry shade through to hot dry scree. We offer a wide range of hardy Geranium suitable for the shaded border or woodland garden. Geranium offer much in that they flower in Summer while most plants for shade are spring flowering. Some Geranium are native and all those listed thrive in UK garden conditions and are very adaptable.
Pest and disease on hardy geraniums are usually not a problem, some will get late summer mildew and they can be effected by vine weevil larvae if you have a real problem. They are usually vigorous enough to grow through any problems.

Geranium 'Black Beauty'
A very fine form raised in Somerset at Hadspen House, very dark black foliage with typical pale blue flowers. The real difference with this form is its resistence to mildew, often a problem with Geranium pratense.
