This is a lovely hybrid between Athyrium nipponicum. Pictum and A. filix-femina and has the silver foliage of the former and the stature and grace of the latter. Pale, almost grey white foliage with a prominant red rib. Easy to cultivate and of a tough constitution. Given good growing will make a fine specimen almost up to a metre tall. Good in a large pot.
