Epimedium
A question of two groups: the old European species are happy in a drier soil, but the Chinese species are very much plants for a humus rich, moisture retentive, but not boggy, spot in some shade. Some will prefer a sheltered spot to flush them into flower in Spring. Fine wiry stems carry airy dancing star or spider like flowers. An essential plant for any garden.

Erythronium
A very lovely genus, their common name is Dog's Tooth Violet (from the distinctive shape of the bulb) a thing of possibly unmatched beauty in the Spring garden.

Galium

Geranium
A wide ranging group of plants that give an enormous amount to the garden. Those listed are herbaceous and tolerant of some shade and in many cases, very dry shady situations. Geraniums are great garden plants with long flowering periods.

Gillenia
Exceptionally beautifull North American woodlanders which do well in some sun in the UK. Common name Indian physic to do with its medicinal properties

Helleborus
A wide range of singles and doubles for your interest. We can try and send colours to order but obviously out of flower we can't be sure. They are all from line bred hand pollinated strains which do give very consistent results.

Hepatica
Hepatica is a charming plant for the woodland garden, some are easier than others. Japanese cultivars are really only suitable for pot culture but many of the European woodland species and forms make good garden plants.
