Newly emerging foliage in spring is lilac pink, gradually changing to almost white and then to white and green variegation. Flowers are sky blue above the lilac-pink and white stage of the foliage. Height is about eight inches and spread is slow to a clump of twelve to sixteen inches. Surprisingly, it is easy to grow and performs well in a semi shaded spot.
